Sports day at Carpe Diem

It's the second Spots day at Carpe Diem. Hubby couldn't apply leave. I applied leave to take part in the Sports day with Png Png. He glued to me the moment he saw me.

Finally managed to coaxed him to participate in a game but he fell and injured his knee. He was crying his heart out and glued to me again. He agreed to come down only when the director, Annie gave him the medal.

This was the one and only picture that I managed to snap.

Playground near Marine Parade library

Hubby brought the boys to Marine Parade library after they visited my mom at East Shore Hospital. They didn't stay long as my mom didn't want the boys to stay in the ward.

After visit to the library, they went to the playground which they spotted.

They spent time there while I stayed with my mom in the ward.

East Shore Hospital

My mom was admitted to East Shore Hospital for knee cap replacement operation. I brought Png Png there when I visited my mom during weekend. He remembered that he came to this hospital before for the stitching on his forehead.

My mom didn't want Png Png to stay in the ward. So, I brought him to the reception area. He had his oat meal there.

Potty training to success

Png Png used potty for passing urine last Monday, today sister in law tried him on toilet bowl. Wee wu, another successful attempt. He came out of the toilet announcing to me happily that he urinated into the toilet bowl. Finally, I see light in the tunnel!

He was ambitious to tell me that he wanted to pass motion in the toilet bowl later at night. However, this didn't go well. My mistake for not giving him the toilet seat adaptor. I was afraid he couldn't wait. Well, I hope he will be successful in passing motion in the toilet bowl in a week's time. I am waiting for that moment....

Toilet training journey

Regarless on how much effort I put in toilet training Png Png, it's to no avail. His childcare teachers started to train him again. They said he cannot be on diaper when he promotes to N2.

Today, Png Png came home from childcare center told me happily that he was not on diaper. Shortly, he asked my sister in law for diaper and his diaper was very heavy with urine after wearing for a minute. He must have hold on to his urine the whole day in childcare center.

Night time, he asked me to put on diaper for him. I asked him if he wanted to pass urine. He nodded his head. I held a potty in front of him instead. Bingo! He passed urine into the potty. He passed urine into the potty the next day. I hope potty training him is successful this time round.

We were shopping at Tiong Bahru Plaza. There was game stations for shoppers to play for purchase above a certain amount. Happened that we spent quite a fair bit, but just enough for 1 player. Well, good thing only Chen Chen is qualified to play the games. Anyway, Png Png was not interested in the games

The famous catapult or sling shot Angry Birds game. This was the main attraction to Chen Chen but it needed a lot of strength to pull the catapult. I feel that it's a version for the adults. The staff at this game station helped Chen Chen to pull the catapult

Playground near Bukit Merah Library

We went to Bukit Merah Library after we visited my mother-in-law. We saw a playground near the library after alighting from the car. As usual, my boys won't miss any playground they see.
Png Png climbed up the ladder to join Chen Chen.

Day of tri celebration

Today is a day to celebrate in my family - my mom's lunar birthday, my hubby's birthday and my ROM anniversary. We went to Pariss Buffet and Banquet Restaurant at Marina Square for high tea.

Png Png cat walked at the car park with his magnetic bookmark "hair clip".I baked cup cakes and covered them with my heart (heart shaped plum).

We went to Night Safari at night. Hubby got a birthday badge and a cone of ice cream on the house from Ulu Ulu restaurant. Needless to say, the ice cream went to Chen Chen's tummy.

Png Png was sleeping when we were at Pariss Buffet and Banquet Restaurant. He felt hungry and wanted to chomp down the cup cake I brought along.
