I like this book very much. It's about 3 owl babies woke up and found that their mother was gone. They came out of the hole to wait for their mother. They were very happy when their mother returned to the hole. I see that Png Png likes this story too, espcially the sentance that owlet Bill said " I want my mummy"We did

2. Shirley showed the book Owl babies and asked - Is owl pretty? Does owl look fierce? What do you like about owl? Does owl wear socks? Does it have toes? Owl doesn't have toes, it has claws call talon. Shirley read the story Owl babies. She asked which owlet is Sarah, Percy, Bill. How to tell? Sarah is the biggest and Bill is the smallest. Why Sarah stands on the biggest branch and Bill on ivy leaf? Bill is the smallest, the lightest so the ivy leaft can take Bill's weight
3. Shirley showed a picture of an owl on a branch. 
She asked what is the owl doing on the branch? - Singing? Looking for food? Looking for baby? Resting? She said owl flies very quietly and doesn't flap wing. It swoops silently so that the prey is not awared the owl is coming. Shirley actioned owl flies quietly and catches a rabbit back to owlet for breakfast, squirrel for lunch
4. Shirley showed a book "Quiet Owls".
She described the difference between different pictures of owl - yellow eyes, black eyes. She said the ear like feather sticking out of owl's head is not ears. They are feathers. 
She also showed a picture of an owl catches a mouse and eat it. She said owl poke beak into pray and tear the flesh apart to eat
