Png Png is promoted to lapbooking class now. I looked forward to lapbooking class as I have no idea what is it about. Very eager to find out what is it about

The literature used is Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear by Eric Carle.

What we did
1. Sang Good Afternoon song
2. Teacher Shirley read the book Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you hear
3. Teacher Shirley talked about some of the animals in the book eg
Can u hug polar bear? No because polar bear will eat you
Lion with mane is pa pa lion. Ma ma lion has no mane. It's called tigerless
Flamingo has long neck and long leg. It stands on 1 leg. Is flamnigo a bird? Yes it has feathers
Is hippo a bird? No, why? It has no feather
Does boa constrictor have legs? No. How does it move? It slithers Teacher Shirley mentioned use Boa Constrictor instead of snake to widen tot's vocab
4. Parents were to help tot join words and its corresponding animals from a list of animal pictures with a pencil. Png Png scribbed on the paper and ran away
5. Teacher Shirley took out a picture of a polar bear and gave cards with words "eye", "ear", "shoulder", "paw", "fur" to each tot to place on the respective part on the polar bear

6. Each tot was given a picture of flamingo and pink/red color crepe paper and a feather to paste on the flamingo picture. Younger tots have to tear the crepe paper while older tots have to tear and roll the crepe paper into a ball 7. Teacher Shirley read nursery rhyme

Polar bear, polar bear, turn around

Polar bear, polar bear, make no sound
Polar bear, polar bear, dance on your toes

Polar bear, polar bear, touch your nose

Polar bear, polar bear, show your paw
Polar bear, polar bear, hide your claws
Polar bear, polar bear, reach up high
Polar bear, polar bear, wink one eye
Polar bear, polar bear, say good night

Polar bear, polar bear, shut your eyes tight
Polar bear, polar bear, wake up now

Polar bear, polar bear, take a bow
Both Png Png and I love this rhyme very much. I recite the rhyme and action with him anytime, anywhere
