1. Sang Good Afternoon song
2. Shirley read the book "One Ted falls out of bed" with animation. She is very good in animation. She asked who has Teddy bear at home? What is the color? Is it big or small?
3. Shirley asked what else besides Teddy bear and ballon in the story. There are 9 frogs playing tunes, 7 trolls fighting, 6 dolls sipping tea, etc. She said this is a busy book. Other than the first 2 pages, there are many activities going on in all pages. She said point details to tot and ask question like - Who play instruments? What animal said "play with me" to Ted? How many mice? How do you know those (point to picture of trolls) are trolls? Because they have colorful hair. Where are the frogs? Are they on the bed? Png Png said yes. Shirley said no they are in the box on a cushion. She said tots will point to the picture and answer there when you ask where is what and what. Train them to name the specific location
4. Each tot was given a bag of chips and 4 pictures to do matching activities
Activity 1 Ted is hungry. He wants to eat 8 cookies. Put 8 chips in the box
Activity 2 Troll gives each doll a pillow. There are 6 dolls. Put 6 chips in the box
Activity 3 Ted gives each frog 1 cookie. There are 9 frogs. Put 9 chips in the box
Activity 4 Doll invited 7 friends to have tea. She needs 7 sauces to go with tea cup. Put 7 chips in the box
Shirley asked parents to line the chips in one line and ask tot to point and count. She said normally tot will skip the chip when counting. After that, point to the words and read to tot on what is required of the activity. Get tot to point to the no eg where is no 8 on the instruction. Then get tot to put the required no of chips in the box
