Chen Chen's 6th birthday with family

We brought the boys to Snow City and Science Center to celebrate Chen Chen's birthday on his calendar birthday. The boys wanna go to places with snow for holiday. So we thought let them experience what is snow and cold weather like to see if that's what they wanted

There was snow slope in the Snow Chamber. It's 60-metre-long and 14° slope. It extends the entire length of the building, with the gradient sloping from ground level to almost 3 storeys high at the top. The main activity available is 'snowtubing', where visitors will sit on inflatable snow tubes and slide down the snow slope. Only my hubby tried the snowtubing once. My boys didn't wanna try it. Neither do I after seeing how dangerous and wet the other visitors get.

Snow City is a disappointment. Many corners were closed to visitors. The staff let visitors in to snap pictures with their camera. The staff asked us to come out when we were using our own camera. We didn't buy any picture from them. My boys don't like Snow City but they still wanna go to the real snow mountain for holiday

We proceeded to Kinetic Garden which is next to McDonalds at Science Center for home cooked lunch

WaterWorks - my boys enjoyed the most here. I hide under the shelter all the time. Even then, I felt the heat burning my skin

My boys didn't wanna leave this area though they were very tired. Png Png knocked off immediately after I bathed him

Science Center was celebrating anniversary on that day. Free pop corns and cotton candy were given to visitors. Png Png got his first taste of pop corns and he loves it. Luckily the oil used to pop the pop corns is magarine. Pop corns sold in the supermarket uses butter.

We bought a simple cake and brought to my parents' place to sing birthday song at night

Chen Chen likes to dine at Sakura restaurant. He always request to go to Sakura restaurant for birthday celebration of my family members. We treated my family members to Sakura restaurant for buffet lunch for Chen Chen's birthday

Chen Chen's 6th birthday in childcare center

Today is Chen Chen's lunar birthday. We celebrated his birthday in childcare center today since his calendar birthday is on Saturday

As usual, I baked cup cakes for his birthday celebration

There were 2 cases of hand foot mouth disease in Chen Chen's class today. Chen Chen's childcare director advised me not to bring Png Png along.

Chen Chen's form teacher Teacher Xiao went back to China for holiday. Teacher Zhou was the relief teacher. Form their facial expression, can tell that not all of them appreciate cup cake. Few of them asked for second helping though. Kai Kai asked for third helping. Wu hu...... send me cloud nine. Most of them don't like milo pudding. Probably because it was a bit burnt
