He turns 8!

Chen Chen turns 8 today.   Unlike last year, we did not throw a birthday party for him though he wanted to have a birthday party.   We brought him to his faourite Momiji buffet restaurant for lunch with my family and bought him birthday presents.

Birthday

Today is Png Png's birthday.   I baked cranberry cupcakes for celebration of his birthday at Carpe Diem.   
 
 I completed baking and decorating the cupcakes just in time.  Rushed to Carpe Diem and didn't manage to snap a picture of the cupcake complete with the decoration.   I decorated the cupcake with 2 heart shape bread - 1 plain bread and another whole meal bread sandwiched with jam.   Png Png wanted heart shape decoration, and he is allergic to dairy.   So, I came out with this decoration which doesn't need icing.

My shy baby hid behind me and stood stoned when his peers sang birthday songs (English, Chinese, Malay version of Happy Birthday song) to him.   He was too shy to blow out the candle.

 He was still in daze when I distributed the cupcake and chocolate biscuits

 Finally, he woke up to served his teachers and peers his birthday treat.

Chomp chomp chomp....   So sad to see that not every child appreciates the cupcake I baked.   Everyone love the chocolate biscuit though except Png Png who can't eat the chocolate biscuit.   








Png Png was very earger to give out the birthday goodie to his peers.

Birthday celebration at Momiji

My cutie baby will turn 4 in 3 days time.   Yeah!!

As usual, we celebrated his birthday with my family.   Under Chen Chen's influence, Png Png chose to celebrate his birthday at Momiji Japanese buffet restaurant.

Day of tri celebration

Today is a day to celebrate in my family - my mom's lunar birthday, my hubby's birthday and my ROM anniversary. We went to Pariss Buffet and Banquet Restaurant at Marina Square for high tea.

Png Png cat walked at the car park with his magnetic bookmark "hair clip".I baked cup cakes and covered them with my heart (heart shaped plum).

We went to Night Safari at night. Hubby got a birthday badge and a cone of ice cream on the house from Ulu Ulu restaurant. Needless to say, the ice cream went to Chen Chen's tummy.

Png Png was sleeping when we were at Pariss Buffet and Banquet Restaurant. He felt hungry and wanted to chomp down the cup cake I brought along.

Chen Chen is 7!

Time flies. Chen Chen is 7 today! My sister in law's family members came from Philipines to Singapore for holiday. I took this opportunity to throw a birthday party for Chen Chen since Chen Chen mingles very well with the guests from Philippines.

We hold the party in the Club House This is Chen Chen's first birthday party since birth. We celebrated his birthday by going for holiday every year except the year Png Png was borned and this year.

We only invited sister in law's family members, 2 of Chen Chen's classmates (Delia and Ryan) and 2 of Chen Chen's Icreative learner coursemates (Xin Ru and Faser) and their family, needlness to say and my family members. Faser couldn't attend the party as they have to attend a wedding dinner. Faser visited us earlier in the day to pass the present to Chen Chen.

This is the very first time Chen Chen gets to choose his own birthday cake. Every year, my brother bought a cake for Chen Chen withouting letting Chen Chen choose the design.
