Today, we did
1. Sang Good Afternoon song
2. Parent used brown color paint to paint tot's palm to print bunny's body; paint tot's index and middle fingers to print bunny's ears.
3. Tots to match 6 cut out pictures of bunny's silhouette against the corresponding silhouette on a piece of paper. Parents had to describe to tot the difference between the silhouette. Teacher Shirley said there is a fox coming and the bunny raises the ears to listen carefully then asked the tots which silhouette shows that. She said that is a way to describe the silhouette to the tots
4. Teacher Shirley read a book "Guess How much I love you". She action as she read along. She said rabbits don't tear when they are sad. They fall sick when the are sad5. Teacher Shirley taught the concept of same and different by showing picture of 2 same shapes and said they are the same; then showed 2 different shapes and said they are not the same. Next, she gave 2 mini green booklet to each tot and gave a stack of papers with different shapes (rectangle, triangle, circle, crescent) to let tot choose 2 different shapes. As usual, the tots rushed to pick their choice and Png Png was left with 2 remaining shapes to pick from. The 2 shapes left are the same, Teacher Shirley asked Png Png to exchange with another tot. Tot had to paste a picture shape on the green mini book, draw the shape on the next page. Parents had to draw picture of things of the same shape on the other page and talk to tot about it
6. Teacher Shirley returned the hand printed brown rabbit tots did at the beginning of the class to let tot draw the missing features on the bunny - eyes, nose, mouth, whisker
