Feed fishes at Punggol relcaimed land

Hubby brings the 2 boys to a reclaimed land at Punggol whenever I am busy cooking at home.

Today was the first time I went with them to the reclaimed land. The 2 boys brought me to the pond excitedly and showed me how they fed fishes in the pond.

Png Png tore the bread into small crumbs to feed the fishes

Chen Chen flung very big piece of bread into the pond

We brought bubbles for the boys to play at the field. Other children joined in the fun

Cute conversation with Png Png

I brought Png Png to NTUC supermarket. I handed a packet of corn on the cob I had chosen to Png Png. There was water dripping from the plastic bag. I pretended and asked Png Png.

Me : Who passed urine on the floor. Was that you?

Png Png : No. It's the corn on the cob. It passes urine on the floor because it didn't wear diaper.

oh man. He and his diaper theory

I was doing category of musical insturments with Png Png for a lapbook. When we sent Chen Chen to keyboard lesson, I took the opportunity to introduce wind instrument to Png Png when I saw a few guitars hang on the shelf for sale. I demonstrated to Png Png how to play guitar by plucking or strumming. Later in the afternoon, Png Png told me something very interesting in the kitchen.

Png Png : Mummy, see I play string instrument.

Me : Where is the string instrument?

Png Png pointed to his underwear

Png Png : When I pull my underwear and let go, I am playing string instrument by plucking.

Yahoo!!! I am very happy that he understands the concept of plucking and string instrument.

Imaginary dolphin

Chen Chen used colorful post it pad to form some shapes on the dining table. He asked me to look at them. I guessed it is a dolphin.

I like the imaginary dophins he made. This is an excellent activity compared to playing with iphone games

Lion King musical

It's beginning of the month, not a very good timing but we are going for a dinner and Lion King musical (WOW!) on company's account for the annual appreciation team event or team building whatever they call it.

After work, we rushed to Marina Bay Sands TWG for dinner

TWG tea

Imperial Ros tea
TWG tea salad
Lobster timbale - heavenly yummy!
Foie gras salad
Chai sea basd dessert
Chocolate fondan dessert
Mango crumble dessert - YUCKS! Too sweet even for sweet tooth me
After dinner, we proceeded to Marina Bay Sands for the award-winning Broadway Musical The Lion King brought in jointly with Disney Theatrical Productions, BASE Entertainment and Marina Bay Sands
At the start of the musical, audiences and I included were surprised by animals walking from the entrance along the aisle.

The next surpise I had was the first sentence that burst out (super duper powerful voice) of Rafiki’s, the old wise baboon’s mouth. Listening to her singing already worth the price of the ticket.
Lyall Ramsden plays the prim and proper horn billed bird “Zazu”. Scar and Mufasa

The appearance of Timon and Pumbaa brought laughter and giggles.

Romantic ending of story - Union of Simba and Nala

The script had local flavors added to it with our typical Singaporean slang, “leh” was added and Mandarin “请掌声鼓励鼓励!”. Everything was marvelous!

I regretted not rushing to catch the play the 2nd time. My sister in law's friend works in Marina Bay Sands and she had 2 free tickets. Should have rushed down with my 2 boys in taxi. If not for the last minute notification....
