Melbourne holiday - 20 Sep

It rained in the morning. Gosh, we will be going to Lake Mountain to play snow. Phew! Rain stopped early morning.

My boys, hubby included had a good sleep. They woke up late. Hubby went to pick up the rented car but forgot to bring some documents. So, had to make another trip back and forth. It was closed to half past ten by the time he came back. The boys were complaining. Thought we could set off Alas, hubby had some problem with GPS. Hubby made numerous calls to contact Hertz to check on how to use the GPS.

It was almost noon time by the time we set off. The way up Lake Mountain was winding. I felt nausea. Png Png was fussing at the back seat. I kept turning back to talk to him. This made my nausea worse. Luckily he fell asleep and I fell asleep too

We had lunch in the car once we arrived at Lake Mountain
Png Png was not cooperative. It took him about 45 minutes to finish his lunch. By the time he finished his lunch, we were left with 45 minutes in Lake Mountain. We had to leave at 4pm and get back to Melbourne before the sun set at 6pm. Hubby rented tobogga, waterproof pants and boots for Chen Chen and himselfFirst experience walking in the snowFreezing coldLuckily I brought Png Png's infant socks to act as glove. I can't find glove for his sizePng Png was amused by the word "goboggan" when I introduced the word to him before the trip

All of us had a great time. A shame that we only had 45 minutes here. What an exorbitant trip. We spent so much on car rental, toll fee, entrance fee and toboggan rental just for that 45 minutes. Never mind. The most important thing is all of us had a great time and enjoyed it very much. Both boys wanna come again next year
