Today is the last day of the Lunar Ghost month. All my family members had gone for cruise. So we went back to my parents' place to burn insense paper. Before I brought Chen Chen to burn insense paper, he kept asking what is the big metal bin for. This is something new to him

Synchronise breastfeeding

Today is World breastfeeding day. I attended a seminar on baby care followed by synchronise breastfeeding session at Suntec.

Botanic Garden

Every month, Chen Chen's childcare centre requires parent and child to submit a project based on the theme of the month.

The theme of the project for this month is plant. I am really at a loss in what to do. Decided to go to Botanic Garden to get some inspiration

Picked some leaves and flowers thought may be could do something on shapes of leaves and parts of a flower

Chen Chen was more interested in feeding the fishes

I made sandwiches and fruit salad for dinner and had pinic near the library and lab. We had our dinner at the swing Chen Chen took a picture for us. Well taken right?It's time to go home.

Entertainment

Chen Chen played piano for Png Png but Png Png didn't seem interested.

National Day celebration

My company organised National Day celebration on National Day 9th August. Family members were invited. We had the same celebration in 2006. I brought Chen Chen to the office then. This year, I brought Png Png along. This was the 1st time I brought him to the office

There were many children. In fact, most who joined in are the ones with children. The color code is red and white

Chen Chen enjoyed himself very much. This is the 1st time he had McDonalds. He had happy meal which consisted of french fries, Mcnuggets and apple juice. I don't allow him and never buy him McDonalds except their sundaes

Chen Chen enjoyed the magic show by external entertainer. This entertainer is very good with kids Chen Chen watched the performance with mouth wide opened.
